My grandma died on the 01/27/07, and the funeral was on the 01/31/07.

I've been sucked in...

I'm playing a lot of FFXII since I got bac from Urbana. All my hopes for drawing have been dashed somewhat, lol. This game's a lot harder than the other ones. Not that I'm not doing well in it, but just that it seems that they've made the bad guys a WHOLE lot tougher than usual, and enjoy sending several of them my way every so often. Good thing they let me have a guest in the party who's got nicer stats than the ridiculous ones the current baddies have. O well.

So... I'll upload like, 2 pictures when I get back to Rose next week. Until then, God bless!

So I'm headed to Urbana with IVCF soon. It's a Christian organization, and it'll basically help me determine what way I think God's leading me for the rest of my life. Scary!

I'm also at probably one of the only colleges still in school until tthe 22nd. So I'm still busy.

Since I'll be at home and the scanner there is about 100 times worse than any of the ones here, I should not be posting any new artwork until next year, but when I do I'll be uploading a whole ton of pictures (maybe over-doubling my gallery). Which honestly isn't that hard to do right now, haha. I already have 2 I don't think I'll put up until after the new year. One of my own, and one that's a compilation of Yomi from Azumanga Daioh.

I have hopes to vary up my pictures just to let people see the variety of drawing I like to do. Too bad most of it isn't original... yet!

Well it's not much of an update when one person watches me, but I figure I'll write in this anyways! I have another journal here -> [link] which makes this one kind of lonely, as I have little reason to write in it.

Well, I've found my love of drawing again. I stopped drawing around 6th grade (~10 years ago) because I decided drawing was a hobby and I needed to do school stuff well over it. I always had a lot of work, so I just ended up not drawing anymore.

Well I took a Drawing class last quarter at my college. I remembered why I loved to draw, and how I hate having great drawing ideas and no way to follow through on them. I also remembered how much of a perfectionist I am, and how things which aren't just so (or close enough to just so) usually don't interest me. So, if you get a favorite or watch from me it's not out of fancy, but because I really think you're excellent at what you do!

Well finally, I'm at a very tough college, so I still havea lot of homework to do. This means that DA new pictures are about last on my priority list. However, I plan to take time every weekend and draw a picture or two... should the first one be short enough. I take a long time to draw even the simplest things because it has to be as good as I can possibly get it. It's the perfectionist in me.

That being said, I won't upload my pictures until Monday or so. So every Monday you should expect some kind of colorless picture from me, and from there I'll decide if I feel bold enough to try and use colored pencils or something else far less great than what most people here post because I can't afford them, haha. I'll probably use the Gimp, just because I can redo colors there and it's free, haha. That tends to leave my pictures looking kinda block-y as far as color goes, but you'll have the pencil ones.

Once (If) I have a colored or final version, I'll move all my pencil or early versions into my scraps. You're more than welcome to take my pencil drawings and color them in if you'd like. Just say you got your stuff from here, or leave a link or something. I'm on here to add my fun ideas and let the community hopefully benefit and laugh from them.

Well this is my first day on here. I probably won't write much in this section, if much to ever again. I would like to use this place to post and let others view the anime renderings and other things I might (or more likely might not) find time to draw and place here while at college for now, and maybe even more afterwards. That should keep anyone else sufficiently updated on whatever's going on in my life. That's about it, I guess. Oh yeah, I'm not very good at drawing things straight out of my head, but if I have reference material to work from, I'm a master of almost perfect reproduction and combination of existing elements, whether on the computer or on paper. I'm still learning, so give me a little grace at least :-P. Aren't we all really learning?
