This is a picture I did in art class last quarter. It was the first time I'd ever sat down and tried to do a portrait of someone else seriously. I made friends with this guy in Japanese class, then was a project partner with him in one of my classes, and then this last summer we went to Japan together with our college. This year I have had art and Japanese Culture classes with him.
We sat in groups of three, and I was in his group and drew him. I was plesantly surprised with the result. Again, I had to take a picture of it with my digital camera, though that doesn't completely make up for everything, lol. Time: ~1.5 hours |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
